Strategies & Development

  • Perform comprehensive Health and Welfare and Retirement benefits consulting services to assist employers in developing long-term strategies to improve the long-term health of plan members

  • Cost control strategies using industry best practices.

  • Review and recommend strategies for effective communication of the employers benefit program.

Proposals, RFP's, & Vendors

  • Propose and assist in implementing and managing programs to support health benefits, self-insured programs, and routine preventative care by members.

  • We may also investigate and recommend alternative innovative healthcare options where needed.

  • Assist in developing RFP documents and assist in evaluating vendor submissions.

Compliance & Consulting

  • Provide input and consulting specifically on compliance issues such as the Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

  • This would include; but, is not limited to changes in the regulations, any updates or regulatory changes that may arise, as well as audits for each of these areas.

  • Provide regular updates on federal and state laws and regulations in the area of benefits and provide specific district advice for compliance with federal and state regulations.

Audits, Development, & Review

  • Quarterly review of high cost disease; review and recommend overall wellness and lifestyle strategies and programs based on district claim data, current industry practices and district culture.

  • Conduct Retirement Plans analysis and assist in developing RFP documents. Conduct medical and pharmacy claims audits.

  • Actuarial support for planning and budgeting include rate development support and cost estimates.

  • Monitor and track all claims near specific stop loss limits and determine recoveries, monthly review of medical and pharmacy plan costs, and benchmarking surveys.
